Winter Sports Equipment Sale
Are you looking for an economic way to outfit yourself or your family members for outdoor winter activities? Come to the 50th Annual Winter Sports Sale from 9:00 a.m. to noon on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at the Burnt Hills United Methodist Church (860 Rt. 50, Burnt Hills, New York). This yearly event gives the community an opportunity to recycle winter sporting equipment. New and used winter sports equipment will be sold, including downhill and cross country ski equipment, boots, skates, snowboards, sleds and winter sports clothing. Older straight skis will not be accepted this year.
Community members who wish to sell equipment may deliver it to the church between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 17, 2011 and 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, November 18, 2011. Sellers determine the cost of the articles for sale, and receive 75% of the sale price.
