We are excited for our three-week Encore! Musical Theater Camp this summer! We are overjoyed to share that the camp is already full, with 40 students enrolled in this year’s program.

Monday-Friday, July 6-24, 2026
Arrival 2:30pm / Snack starts 2:45pm / Dismissal 5:15pm
VOLUNTEER HOURS: 2:30-5:30 pm, Monday through Friday
We are seeking assistant volunteers who are able to commit to the full three weeks if possible.

DETAILS ABOUT THE PROGRAM:
This programs provides children a fun, creative, air-conditioned place to land in the afternoons and conveniently right after the Summer Rec program! ENCORE! Musical Theater Camp is a free, three-week afternoon program for students in grades 2–5, hosted at Burnt Hills United Methodist Church. While the program takes place in a church facility, it is not a religious program. It’s a welcoming, inclusive arts experience focused on creativity, teamwork, and storytelling through music, dance, theater, and visual arts. It will culminate in a Broadway Musical Theater Review on Thursday, July 23. Students will be performing hits from multiple Broadway shows. The last day of camp will be Friday, July 24 when we have the camp cast party.
Children will build confidence (and build props), make new friends (and make music), and explore their imaginations in a safe, supportive environment. The program is thoughtfully coordinated with BH-BL Summer Recreation for transportation and registration, making participation easy and accessible for families. A bus will transport students after Summer Rec to the BHUM church, so there is no need for parents to pick students up and transport them to ENCORE! Musical Theater Camp after Summer Rec from July 6-July 24.Our ENCORE! staff will greet your students right off the bus and escort them into the air conditioned church for snack and craft time. Best of all, there is no cost to participate, offering working parents peace of mind and children a meaningful, enriching way to spend their summer afternoons.
